Terms of Service
The deal
Kitchen Chaos is a game made by JAZZKONNEN LLC. By playing it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
License
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play Kitchen Chaos on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions allow. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app or its content.
Coins, boosters and other virtual items
Coins, boosters, stars, decorations, outfits and everything else in the game are virtual. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and can't be transferred or sold. Buying one gives you a license to use it in the game, not property. We may adjust or reset virtual balances to fix bugs or abuse.
Purchases and Chef's Club
Coin packs and the starter pack are one-time purchases. The price is shown in the app before you buy. The starter pack can be bought once.
Chef's Club is an auto-renewing monthly subscription. Its price is shown in the app before you buy and is set by Apple for your country. While it is active it removes ads and gives a daily coin and booster gift, and it can save a missed day of your streak once a week. If a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel first.
It renews automatically at the end of every month until you cancel. To cancel, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions at least 24 hours before the current month ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Apple handles all billing, renewals and refunds; we can't issue a refund ourselves. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Fair play
Don't cheat, tamper with the app or its saved data, or exploit bugs for advantage.
Changes to the game
We keep working on Kitchen Chaos: levels, prices, rewards and features may change, and online features may be interrupted or stop.
Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kitchen Chaos is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.
Apple's part in this
These terms are between you and JAZZKONNEN LLC, not Apple. Apple is not a party to them. We, not Apple, are responsible for Kitchen Chaos and everything in it.
Support is ours. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Kitchen Chaos.
Warranty is ours. If Kitchen Chaos fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund what you paid for the app. That refund is the whole of Apple's warranty obligation. To the maximum extent the law allows, any other claim, loss, liability, cost or expense that follows from a failure to meet a warranty is ours, not Apple's.
Claims are ours. We, not Apple, answer any claim you or anyone else makes about Kitchen Chaos or your use of it, including product liability, any claim that the app does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar law.
Infringement claims are ours. If a third party claims that Kitchen Chaos, or your use of it, infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, will investigate, defend, settle and discharge that claim.
Apple can enforce these terms. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. When you accept them, Apple gains the right to enforce them against you, and is deemed to have accepted that right.
Where you may use Kitchen Chaos
By using Kitchen Chaos you confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo, or one the U.S. Government has designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-party terms
You must also keep to the terms of any third-party service Kitchen Chaos uses or runs on, including your wireless carrier's plan and Apple's Media Services terms.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with its effective date. Playing after a change means you accept the updated terms.
